International Witch Revival & Witch Parade in Hasselt: A Magical Moment for the Putheks

On 7 and 8 September 2024, Hasselt hosted the International Witches’ Revival and Witches’ Parade, a celebration of magic, nature and tradition. This year was extra special for the Putheks: Leyn Weckx was named godmother of “Schóéen Marrej”, a tribute to her dedication and love for the giant culture in Limburg.

Together with her music group, the ‘Zootje Ongeregeld’, Leyn enchanted the audience in the Witches’ Parade with their rousing music. The parade, filled with witches, devils, giants and other magical figures, brought the streets of Hasselt to life and made this event unforgettable.

The Putheks continues to honour its roots while looking ahead to the future.
